The Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court has denied bail to Brown Mogotsi

Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court denied bail to North West businessman Brown Mogotsi, who stays in custody on charges including unlawful firearm possession and defeating the ends of justice tied to an alleged staged assassination attempt.

Mogotsi gained notoriety for explosive testimony at the Madlanga Commission claiming roles as a police informant and political fixer with ties to senior officials, before his arrest shortly afterward.
