A 26 year old son raping their mother is proof enough that our African cultural values have reached a point of serious decay. Our African values have been criminalised while foreign western ways have been legalised! This is a result of parents and teachers not being legally allowed to discipline their own children. Children are literally being raised by systems such as the education system, political system, police system, social media system, religious system etc instead of being raised by their parents, families and communities. This is a result of our African way of life coming second best to western ways, ironically under the leadership of African leaders. Todays struggle is not only economic, it is equally spiritual, we have no other choice but to seek guidance from the intelligent ways of our ancestors, let’s start with really taking ancestors day on the 8th of May championed by Controlesa very serious. Let’s go back to basics! Let’s rebuild these broken families, only strong families can build stable communities, only stable communities can build world class cities, provinces and countries.
