Gogo Skhotheni Gets Baptised

 Tumi Motsoeneng, widely recognized as Gogo Skhotheni, has taken a significant step in her spiritual journey by undergoing baptism, symbolizing her commitment to Christianity. Known for her roles as a sangoma, DJ, and reality TV personality, Skhotheni's transition marks a profound personal transformation.

In recent months, Skhotheni publicly declared her decision to give her life to God, expressing the joy she feels in being born again. She shared on social media, "It feels good to be born again. God today, tomorrow, and forever. He's my saviour, my father, and protector; God first before anything" .

Despite her newfound faith, Skhotheni has clarified that she has not renounced her calling as a traditional healer. She emphasized the distinction between healing and practices she now views as witchcraft, stating, "I had to differentiate between being a healer and being a witch — being a healer is what I chose, and it goes along with God" .

Her journey has not been without challenges. Skhotheni has spoken candidly about personal struggles, including her son's prolonged illness and marital difficulties. She credits her faith for providing strength during these times, noting, "We nearly filed for divorce, but God carried us through it. It hasn’t been easy" .
