She is an accomplice and lover of pedophile Gert van Rooyen, who played an active role in the kidnapping, sexual assault and possible murder of at least eight girls in South Africa. Haarhoff and van Rooyen have never been convicted for any of their crimes, although there is a lot of evidence against them.

Najwa Petersen

Najwa Petersen has served 28 years in prison for participating in the murder of her husband Taliep. Najwa hired Abdoer Emjedi, Waheed Hassien, and Jefferson Snyders to plan a home invasion, and they caused him fatal harm. The trial that attracted international attention due to her husband’s reputation lasted for three years. She was sentenced to 28 years in prison.

Thandi Maqubela

Thandi was convicted of killing her husband, although the official cause of death was never provided. The state argued that Maqubela used a piece of plastic wrap to choke her husband on the bed.
