Police arrive at Lilongwe Protest #Malawi #Lilongwe

Two police vehicles have arrived at the Lilongwe Community Ground where the Centre for Democracy and Economic Development Initiatives (CDEDI) is expected to launch a protest.

This is despite Lilongwe City Government Commissioner Lawford Palani advising the organisation to reschedule the protest, citing that the police are busy with other activities.

Unlike last week when some people were seen chasing away anyone passing by the Lilongwe Community Ground when opposition parties staged a protest, today people are passing by without any pressure and some are just hanging out on the grounds.
