COURT APPEARANCE: Malungane Village Woman Appears in Court for Husband's Murder #SouthAfrica
A 52-year-old woman, Orscarin Selina Hlungwani, is set for court debut tomorrow, 15 January 2025 for allegedly murdering her husband, Soyaphi Moses Hlungwani (64) also known as Shaka, at Malungane village in Namakgale.
Limpopo Current Affairs was reliably informed that on 27 August 2024, the the couple had an altercation that led to a physical fight, leaving Shaka bruised and lying on the floor. The family reported the incident to Namakgale police the next day at 1 pm and she was arrested. Selina was granted bail of R1000 on 10 September 2024 and has since made multiple court appearances. During her most recent court hearing, the magistrate informed the family that the investigation is ongoing, with additional evidence still being gathered. The court is awaiting testimony from two key witnesses before proceeding further.
